My Aesthetic Medicine Approach

Most people who come to see me aren't looking to look different. They want to look a little more rested. A little more refreshed. Maybe a little more confident when they look in the mirror. That's why I take a conservative approach to every treatment plan.

I believe aesthetic medicine should enhance your natural features, not change them.

My job isn't to sell you treatments. My job is to listen, educate, and help you decide what's right for you.

If I don't believe a treatment is necessary, I'll tell you. The trust between an injector and patient is more important than any single appointment.

About

Max Lenowitz, CRNP, FNP-C, is the founder of Leno Aesthetics and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than five years of experience in aesthetic medicine.

A Penn State graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health, Max was drawn to becoming a nurse practitioner for the unique combination of compassionate care and medicine. He went on to earn his BSN from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and his Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Davenport University.

Max began his medical career in dermatology, where he developed an appreciation for skin health and its impact on confidence. He later worked in oncology specializing in melanoma, gaining valuable medical experience while caring for patients through some of their most challenging moments. His passion for dermatology ultimately brought him back to the field with a focus on aesthetics.

After more than five years in aesthetic medicine, Max founded Leno Aesthetics to create a practice centered on honest recommendations, individualized care, and natural-looking results. He is equally passionate about the wellness side of the practice, helping patients feel their best—not just look their best. His philosophy is simple: thoughtful, personalized care that helps patients feel confident, refreshed, and still like themselves.

Proud to call the Eastern Shore home, Max lives with his fiancée, Madeline, and their golden retriever, Harry. When he’s not in the practice, you’ll likely find him out on the golf course.
